Help

Asked often, answered straight.

How much does installation cost?

A single-room split system is £1,150 to £1,450 fitted, depending on the pipe run and mounting. You'll get an itemised quote within 24 hours of the survey, and the invoice matches it to the pound.

How long does installation take?

One day for a single room: 8:00 start, cooling by late afternoon. Multi-room systems take two to three days, and we agree the schedule before we start.

Do I need planning permission?

Usually not for houses. Flats and listed buildings sometimes do. We check before you commit and handle the paperwork when it's needed.

What's included in the annual service?

Filter deep-clean, refrigerant charge and airflow checked against the manufacturer's figures, condensate flush, and a one-page efficiency report with the actual numbers.

What happens if it breaks down?

Same-day emergency call-outs, seven days a week, with a 90-minute arrival window. Comfort members get priority slots and pay no call-out fee.

Will it heat in winter too?

Yes. Every unit 21Aircon fits is a heat pump: it cools in July and heats in January, at roughly a third of the running cost of electric radiators.

Is it expensive to run?

No: it is one of the cheapest ways to heat and cool a home. A heat pump moves warmth rather than burning energy to make it, so for every £1 of electricity you get roughly £3 to £4 of heating or cooling back. That is about a third of the running cost of electric heaters, and an annual service keeps it working at its best.
